SMK memperkenalkan inovasi motor listrik konversi

Purbalingga - Dalam rangka merayakan hari jadi Kota Purbalingga yang ke-192, SMK Widya Manggala Pubalingga mengikuti Expo yang diselenggarakan pada tanggal 18 Desember 2022. Dalam acara tersebut, SMK memperkenalkan inovasi motor listrik konversi yang dibuat oleh siswa jurusan teknik sepeda motor.
Motor konversi ini memiliki bodi yang sama dengan motor konvensional atau bensin, namun penggeraknya sudah dikonversi menjadi sistem dinamo yang berenergi baterai. Inovasi ini membuat motor menjadi lebih ramah lingkungan dan mengurangi emisi gas buang yang berbahaya bagi lingkungan.
Pada ekspo tersebut, banyak sekali pengunjung yang antusias melakukan test drive motor listrik ini yang dikenal dengan sebutan Molis. Molis ini memiliki performa yang sangat baik dan menghemat biaya bahan bakar jika dibandingkan dengan motor konvensional.
"Kami sangat bangga dapat memperkenalkan inovasi motor listrik konversi ini kepada masyarakat. Kami berharap inovasi ini dapat memberikan inspirasi kepada masyarakat untuk mencari alternatif yang lebih ramah lingkungan," ujar Kaproli TSM SMK Widya Manggala Pubalingga, Bapak Vendy Subagyo, S.T.
Dengan inovasi ini, SMK Widya Manggala Pubalingga membuktikan bahwa sekolah teknik tidak hanya mengajarkan teori, tetapi juga membantu menciptakan solusi bagi masalah lingkungan. SMK juga berharap inovasi ini dapat menjadi salah satu pemain utama dalam usaha mengurangi emisi gas buang dan membantu memajukan industri otomotif Indonesia.
